Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Review patient information before evaluations, perform comprehensive assessments, and assist in collecting outcome data. Instruct and direct support staff while supervising assistants per state Practice Acts. Maintain licensure in the state of practice and adhere to federal regulatory guidelines. Requires a Master's degree, two years of speech language pathology experience, and CPR/BLS certification. Located in Templeton, this part-time day shift role serves an interdisciplinary care team within a 122-bed acute care facility.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' speech language pathology experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
