Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while reviewing patient information before and during treatment. Document findings, assist in collecting patient outcome data, and instruct support staff in accordance with state Practice Acts. Supervise assistants and perform assigned job-related duties. Maintain licensure in California, hold CPR/BLS certification, and adhere to all regulatory guidelines. This part-time, day-shift role serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team at Adventist Health Twin Cities, located in Templeton.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' speech language pathology experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
