Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while reviewing patient information before evaluations. Instruct and direct support staff, supervise assistants, and assist in data collection of patient outcomes. Adhere to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirement guidelines as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. Requires Master's degree, Speech Pathologist licensure, and CPR/BLS certification. Located in Templeton, part-time day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' speech language pathology experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
