Speech Therapist, Part time, Day shift

Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while reviewing patient information before evaluations and documenting comprehensive assessments. Assist in collecting patient outcome data, instruct and direct support staff according to state Practice Acts, and supervise assistants as needed. Maintain adherence to state and federal regulatory guidelines, including required licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and annual vaccinations. This role is a part-time, day-shift position within Adventist Health Twin Cities' 122-bed acute care facility in Templeton, serving northern San Luis Obispo County.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' speech language pathology experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
