Job Summary
Provide in-home speech-language pathology services, perform comprehensive evaluations and OASIS assessments, and develop and implement individualized care plans to treat speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia disorders. Accurately document visits in accordance with Medicare guidelines, educate patients and caregivers on exercises and compensatory strategies, and communicate effectively with physicians and care team members. Requires travel to patient homes in Lakeland, FL area; Florida SLP license and CPR certification required; driver’s license and reliable transportation essential. Flexible schedule with mileage reimbursement; Level 2 background screening per Florida AHCA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Florida SLP license
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- CPR certification
- Home health experience preferred
