Job Summary
The Speech Therapist is responsible for providing assessment and appropriate speech therapy services to residents and patients to help them improve and regain skills. Key responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and creating comprehensive care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The position requires excellent customer service, strong communication abilities, and respect for residents' needs. Candidates must hold a master's degree in speech therapy and have a current NYS license, with preferred experience in skilled nursing facilities, subacute care, ICU, and acute rehab.
