Job Summary
Organize and provide speech-language services nationwide for 13-week assignments across skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design treatment plans covering cognitive-communication, swallowing disorders, oral motor skills, and functional communication. Direct patient participation in therapeutic activities, adapt plans of care, and implement treatment goals while ensuring safe environments and timely documentation. Supervise temporary licensees and students as required, coordinate adaptive communication devices, and consult with the rehabilitation team to address comprehensive patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Must be able to travel nationwide for 13 week assignments
- Must be able to supervise CFYs temporary licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
