Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (Journey Traveler) travels nationwide for 13-week assignments, providing speech-language pathology services across diverse settings to facilitate rehabilitation. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating cognitive-communication, speech intelligibility, oral motor skills, swallowing disorders/dysphagia, pragmatics, memory, and functional communication; supervising CFYs/students; collaborating with rehabilitation team; developing and implementing individualized treatment plans; documenting services; coordinating adaptive devices and equipment; ensuring safety and adherence to ethical standards; may perform FEES with specialized training; supports visa sponsorship and relocation per posting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Status: ASHA-acceptable area
- Eligibility for licensure in relevant state (SLP)
- Willingness to travel nationwide for 13-week assignments
- Experience in rehabilitation settings preferred (CFYs supervision and student supervision)
- Eligible for visa sponsorship (H-1B) or Green Card sponsorship per posting
