Job Summary
Provide speech therapy services for acute care patients based on physician orders; treat a wide range of conditions including stroke/neurological, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive impairments. Support ICU and general acute care patient populations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately. Requires minimum 2 years of speech therapy experience; acute care experience preferred; MBS/FEES proficiency preferred but not required. Ability to work required weekend rotation (minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks, 4 preferred). Certifications: BLS.
