Job Summary
Part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) delivering in-home rehabilitation and communication therapies for patients in their homes or facilities. Responsibilities include evaluating and directing speech/language pathology services, contributing to the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care, diagnosing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing, administering and interpreting diagnostic tests, monitoring patient progress, training patients in alternative communication systems, counseling patients and families, and maintaining required documentation. The role requires at least six months of relevant experience, an active license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; driving to patient homes is a core component. Pay ranges include per-visit compensation and annual base pay, with a total compensation range of $85,400–$117,500 for full-time equivalency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver‘s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
