Job Summary
Provide speech-language pathology services in the home or facility, participate in development and periodic review of Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care, assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing, administer diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments, document patient condition and progress, educate patients and families in alternative communication systems when appropriate, coordinate care and participate in discharge planning, maintain confidentiality and professional conduct, and pursue ongoing education as required.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Home Health experience a plus
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- Good organizational and communication skills
- A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
