Job Summary
Provide in-home or facility-based speech-language pathology services to patients, including evaluation, treatment planning (Plan of Treatment/Plan of Care), administering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and guidance for alternative communication systems. Maintain documentation, participate in care coordination and discharge planning, and support patients, families, and healthcare staff with education and counseling. Requires ASHA-CCC or licensure, a valid license, CPR, and reliable transportation to home health visits; part-time schedule with opportunities for schedule adjustment based on geographic location and patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- Good organizational and communication skills
- A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Clinical Certification (CCC-SLP) or Audiology licensure
- Minimum six months experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Current and unrestricted professional license
- CPR certification
- Good organizational and communication skills
