Job Summary
Conduct patient evaluations, plan, implement, and supervise treatment programs while maintaining records and documenting progress reports. Provide patient education and oversee support staff and students as assigned. Manage clinical work with adults experiencing speech, language, swallowing, or voice disorders, including participation in Modified Barium Swallows and operation of Videostroboscopic equipment. Requires ASHA certification, Alabama license, and BCLS certification within orientation. Full-time employment at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an Accredited Institution in the area of Speech Therapy/Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology, or eligible to begin CFY with successful completion of nation exam required
- Alabama license in Speech Pathology required within 6 months
- BCLS certification
- excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
