Speech Therapist

Speech Therapist provides speech therapy services to Agency patients per attending physician’s prescriptions, including assessment, planning, and implementation of rehabilitation for speech, language, and swallowing disorders, plus diagnostic evaluation of speech and language abilities. Responsibilities include recording and reporting patient progress to physicians, instructing family members and health-care staff on communication methods, re-evaluating progress, preparing periodic reports for physicians and payers, referring to outside speech clinics or community services as indicated, maintaining clinical and progress notes, timely paperwork, and coordinating liaison with community agencies. Schedule is weekdays, 8–5, full-time (40 hr/week). Travel by automobile as needed. Location: Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The role requires Master’s degree or higher and PA SLP licensure with supervised post-certification experience (1+ year) in home health, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS per preferences.
