Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients regarding a wide range of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, and dysphagia disorders. Oversees a comprehensive rehabilitation program to meet physical, psychosocial, cognitive and environmental needs; promotes patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resources; coordinates with multiple disciplines; maintains discharge goals; advocates for patients; settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care and home health care; requires detailed knowledge of speech and language pathology and interpretation of data; understands applicable regulations; works within a team to support patient well-being across the lifespan.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology and have or qualify to obtain a Certificate of Clinical Competence
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
