Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility. Administer diagnostic tests including audio logic screening and interpret results to prevent, identify, and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing. Develop, review, and maintain Plans of Treatment and Care while documenting evaluations, visits, and progress reports. Provide instruction on alternative communication systems and counsel patients, families, and healthcare staff. Participate in care coordination and discharge planning while maintaining strict confidentiality. Submit timely written reports and care plans per Company policy. Maintain professional standards by attending internal development programs and obtaining required continuing education. Full-time employment at $54.00–$76.00 per visit/unit requires ASHA certification, six months of speech therapy experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
