Job Summary
Complete a 36-week Clinical Fellowship under supervision while working toward provisional licensure, adhering to state requirements and CMS guidelines. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, develop treatment goals, and implement plans for cognitive-communication, swallowing disorders, and functional communication. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select therapeutic regimens, make referrals, and adapt care plans based on individual patient needs. Conduct routine reexaminations to modify treatment progress and instruct patients on adaptive communication devices and therapeutic skills. Maintain a safe environment, order supplies, and ensure all documentation and licensure applications are completed in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
