Job Summary
Conduct speech-language pathology treatment plans for patients, including cognitive-communication, swallowing disorders, and oral motor skills. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses and develop therapeutic goals. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select regimens, make referrals, and adapt plans based on individual needs. Perform routine reexaminations to modify treatment and instruct patients in adaptive communication devices. Complete all Clinical Fellowship requirements, including licensure documentation, while adhering to state standards and CMS supervision rules. Maintain equipment, order supplies, and ensure a safe environment. Communicate status and progress to supervisors and attend staffing conferences.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
