Job Summary
Conduct speech-language pathology services including screening, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients with impairments in cognitive-communication, swallowing disorders, and functional communication. Implement therapeutic techniques, instruct patients on adaptive communication devices, and modify plans of care based on individual progress. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate regimens, make referrals, and ensure a safe environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment. Complete a minimum of 36 weeks of supervised clinical fellowship while meeting productivity standards and attending staffing conferences. Submit timely updates on licensure status and documentation to supervisors and the Director of Rehab.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
