Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology screenings, evaluations, and treatment plans for patients with cognitive-communication, swallowing disorders, and oral motor skills deficits. Implement therapeutic techniques, coordinate adaptive communication devices, and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate regimens. Complete a minimum of 36 weeks of clinical fellowship under supervision while meeting productivity standards and maintaining licensure documentation. Screen for hearing deficits, order necessary supplies, and ensure a safe environment. Put patient service first to deliver high-quality care in a compassionate atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
