Job Summary
Provide and direct resident rehabilitation care across long-term care, short-term rehab, and subacute facilities while evaluating needs and establishing treatment plans. Manage resources and coordinate supervision with interdisciplinary staff, participating in screenings and providing feedback on clinical issues. Perform necessary clinical documentation and maintain accurate billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting standards. Assist with marketing efforts and complete in-service training as requested. May travel to other facilities to provide services. Compensation ranges from $40 to $65 based on experience and schedule. Master's degree and active state license required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech Therapy
- Current and Active Speech Language Pathology license within the state of operations
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation
- Prefer knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings
