Job Summary
Provide speech-language pathology services in inpatient rehabilitation at Encompass Health. Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary. Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment, celebrating patient victories along the way. Must hold current licensure or certification per state regulations and CCC; CPR certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire. Master's degree is preferred (or Bachelor's degree with relevant field experience).
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree with field experience
