Speech Pathologist

Job Summary
Provide evaluation, assessment, development, and administration of personalized speech-language pathology treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in an inpatient setting. Identify issues, modify therapy as needed, and track patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Celebrate patient victories and contribute to a collaborative, technologically advanced environment as part of Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation team. Requires current state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR (or within 30 days of hire), and typically a Master’s degree (or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience).
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
