Job Summary
Speech Pathologist sought for ongoing, part-time role (30.4 hours per fortnight) within the Travancore Community Mental Health Team. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech pathology assessments and short-term interventions for children up to 11 years, collaborating with case managers, and supporting the In2School Day Program when needed. Requirements include a degree in Speech Pathology, SPA membership eligibility, adherence to the SPA Code of Ethics, and demonstrated clinical skills in pediatric and adolescent mental health contexts. The role is primarily based in Travancore, Sunshine, or Hoppers Crossing (Victoria) with potential to work across RCH mental health community teams. Required Qualifications
- Hold a degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited university
- Be eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and meet the requirements of the SPA professional self-regulation
- Uphold the SPA Code of Ethics
- Demonstrated clinical skills in the provision of speech pathology services to children and adolescents
- Qualification, experience or demonstrated interest in child and adolescent mental health
- Demonstrated commitment to work and contribute as part of a team
