Conduct initial and re-evaluations of speech therapy patients, including assessments of speech/language, cognition-communication, oral motor, voice, and swallowing. Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to patient age, educational level, and cultural background, while revising goals based on progress. Provide supervision and mentorship to Speech Language Pathology students, Clinical Fellowship candidates, and therapy aides. Deliver patient and family education regarding diagnoses, progress, and long-term outcomes. Document all assessments, planning, treatment, and discharge in compliance with chart review audit components and departmental policies.
