Job Summary
Speech Pathologist in Sayre, PA provides a full range of speech therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment. Responsible for program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement. Requires a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders, ASHA certification (or CFY consideration), current state licensure, and BLS/CPR. Duties include conducting assessments, developing measurable treatment plans, documenting progress, educating patients and families, participating in discharge planning, and continuing professional development; experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations and knowledge of dysphagia is preferred. Essential functions span patient assessment, treatment planning, progress evaluation, family education, multidisciplinary collaboration, and compliance with policies while meeting productivity standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA certification required unless Clinical Fellowship year
- Current licensure in the state of practice
- Current BLS Certification
- CPR certification
