Job Summary
Speech Pathologist (SLP) needed to join Inova Health Center’s Rehab team in Falls Church, VA. Responsibilities include adhering to department policies for evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries; effective communication with patients, families, medical staff, and team members; supporting administrative tasks and adjusting treatment plans; selecting evaluation and treatment methods appropriate to diagnosis and patient status; may perform additional duties as assigned. Full-time, day shift (40 hours/week) with options for five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. Minimum requirements include Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders (ASHA-accredited), eligibility for CFY, BLS, and VA licensure upon start. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders accredited by ASHA
- New Graduate Speech Language Pathologist eligible for clinical fellowship
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon start
- VA Speech Language Pathologist License required upon start or Provisional VA license accepted if candidate is being considered for Clinical fellowship (Must be eligible for full active VA licensure upon completion of CFY)
