Job Summary
Direct speech therapy for individuals with functional disabilities of speech, language, voice, and swallowing by assessing skills, reviewing medical records, and developing individualized treatment plans. Administer therapy while coordinating modifications with the Director of Clinical Services and client physicians. Instruct clients, family members, and caregivers to maintain optimal functioning levels. Document comprehensive evaluations, therapy interventions, and patient changes according to physician orders and company policies. Maintain HIPAA compliance and a safe patient environment. Travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology
- One year's experience as a Speech Therapist
- Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist
- Travel as needed
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Exerting up to 30 pounds of force frequently
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force constantly
