Job Summary
Provide speech therapy services and home visits to instruct patients in restoring verbal communication and evaluate disability problems. Develop treatment plans based on physician orders, conduct ongoing progress evaluations, and determine treatment goals. Coordinate patient care through conferences with other health disciplines and instruct family members on treatment aspects. Maintain accurate medical records, submit visit notes and route sheets within 24 hours, and report treatment responses to physicians. Administer the Speech Pathology program personally while adhering to agency policies and fostering a professional team environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Audiology from an approved curriculum and certified by the State Department of Education and the American Speech and Hearing Association
- Must be capable of performing job duties
