Job Summary
Coordinate consultations and diagnostic evaluations for patients with communication disorders or oropharyngeal dysphagia across neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Interpret assessment data and plan treatment intervention programs to restore function and prevent disability. Supervise rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers, including orientation and ongoing guidance. This role supports the speech-language pathology team at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school
- CCC - Clinical Speech Pathologist from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology
- BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA or ARC
