Job Summary
Coordinate consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having communication disorders or oropharyngeal dysphagia across neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups. Interpret assessment data and plan treatment interventions to restore function and prevent disability. Provide patient care and supervise rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers, including orientation and ongoing guidance. This Level 2 PRN position at Piedmont Fayette Hospital requires a Master's degree, CCC licensure, Georgia Board licensure, and BCLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school
- CCC - Clinical Speech Pathologist from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology
- BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA or ARC
