Job Summary
Coordinate consultations and diagnostic evaluations for patients with communication disorders or oropharyngeal dysphagia, interpreting assessment data to plan and perform treatment interventions that restore function and prevent disability. Deliver patient care across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, while supervising rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. Provide orientation and ongoing guidance to assigned staff. This PRN role at Piedmont Columbus Midtown supports the delivery of speech-language pathology services to diverse populations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology
- BLS certification through AHA or ARC
