Job Summary
Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to speech language pathology principles; provides direction and supervision to Clinical Fellowship Year Candidates, Speech Language Pathologists, Speech Pathology Students, and Therapy Aides; conducts comprehensive speech, language, cognition-communication, oral motor, voice, and swallowing evaluations; designs and revises treatment plans tailored to patient age and cultural background; ensures coordinated, interdisciplinary care and participates in discharge planning and patient/family education.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- SLP Licensure from the Board of SLP Examiners or SLP Compact Commission
- BLS Certification
- Ability to provide supervision/mentorship to students and staff
- Intern Certificate accepted in lieu of licensure during Clinical Fellowship
