Speech Pathologist (Part-time, Day Shift)

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and reviews patient information before evaluations and during treatment for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Instruct and direct support staff while supervising assistants as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Assist in data collection of patient outcomes and document all services provided. Adhere to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirement guidelines as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. Requires Master's Degree, Speech Pathologist licensure, and BLS certification. Part-time day shift position based in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- all required vaccinations

Desired Qualifications
- Two years' speech language pathology experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
