Speech Pathologist (Part-time, Day Shift)

Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while adhering to state and federal regulatory guidelines. Review patient information before evaluations and during treatment, then document comprehensive assessments and assist in collecting patient outcome data. Instruct and direct support staff, supervising assistants as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Maintain Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice, hold CPR or BLS certification, and possess a Master's degree with two years of preferred experience. This part-time, day shift role is based in San Luis Obispo and represented by SEIU.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' speech language pathology experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
