Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while reviewing patient information before evaluations. Instruct and direct support staff as outlined in national and state Practice Acts, and supervise assistants during treatment courses. Assist in data collection of patient outcomes and adhere to state and federal regulatory license and certification guidelines. Requires Master's Degree, Speech Pathologist licensure, and BLS certification. Full-time equivalent role with SEU representation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' speech language pathology experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
