Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Review patient information before evaluations, assist in data collection of patient outcomes, and instruct support staff in accordance with state Practice Acts. Supervise assistants and ensure adherence to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirement guidelines. Requires Speech Pathologist licensure, BLS certification, and a Master's Degree. Full-time scheduling with E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' speech language pathology experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
