Speech Pathologist (Part-time, Day Shift)

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, review case information, and document diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for individuals with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Instruct and direct support staff while assisting in data collection of patient outcomes. Adhere to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirement guidelines as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. Maintain Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice and hold required CPR or BLS certification. This part-time, day shift role is located in San Luis Obispo, CA, with a Master's degree required and two years of experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' speech language pathology experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
