Job Summary
Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia. Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow studies; plan therapy based on results. Educate patients and families; provide staff in-services on communication and swallowing issues; track outcomes and quality data. Document charges and clinical progress accurately; participate in performance improvement. Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders; complete timely documentation; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient settings. Full-time weekday schedule with occasional flexibility based on caseload.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Arkansas SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- BLS
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with adult neuro, pediatrics, or acute care
- Comfort with EHR/EMR
