Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist needed in Mauston, WI to assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include direct patient care, initial evaluations, plans of care, progress and discharge reports, insurance benefits coordination, session preparation, staff education and in-service presentations, collaboration with healthcare providers for patient-centered treatment, room cleaning and preparation for sessions, reminder calls to patients, and assisting patients and families through navigation of the hospital. Requires professional degree and master's degree in speech-language pathology, Wisconsin licensure, current driver's license, and BLS certification. 1+ years of related experience is preferred; hospital experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in speech language pathology
- Master's degree in speech pathology from an accredited program
- Eligible for Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Must maintain a valid, current driver's license
- Must maintain BLS certification
