Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations of communication disorders and provide remedial treatment for both children and adults in individual and group settings. Develop treatment interventions based on each patient’s needs, recommend augmentative communication methods, and design home programs for therapy carryover. Maintain accurate records, report on treatment progress, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Requires a Master’s in Speech Pathology, a current MA license, and effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology
- Current MA Speech Pathology license
- Member of ASHA
- Attainment of the certificate of clinical competence
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
