Job Summary
Assess and document speech therapy data for patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders. Identify trends in physical and emotional parameters while reviewing treatment plans to modify or create new programs. Instruct patients on monitoring speech skills and practicing new techniques. Maintain all documentation required by law, establishment policy, and administrative regulations. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. This role requires a Master's degree, state licensure, and CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
