Job Summary
Assess and document speech therapy data for patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders. Identify trends in physical and emotional parameters, review treatment plans, and modify or create new intervention programs. Instruct patients on monitoring speech and practicing new skills while maintaining all required legal, policy, and administrative documentation. Requires Master's degree, state licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and valid driver's license. Full-time role in The Dalles, Oregon, with Adventist Health Columbia Gorge since 1901, serving the Columbia River Gorge community across hospital, home health, and medical office settings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or AHA-CPR or ARC-CPR
- OR-SLP
- WA-SLP
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
