Job Summary
Assess and document speech therapy data for patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders while identifying trends in physical and emotional parameters. Review treatment plans to modify, change, or write new programs based on individual performance. Instruct patients on monitoring speech and practicing new skills, ensuring all documentation meets legal, policy, and regulatory requirements. Maintain a valid driver's license and hold required licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and an ASHA CCC to support these duties. Located in Sonora, CA, this role is part of Adventist Health's home health and hospice network serving California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
