Job Summary
Assess and document speech therapy data related to patient assessments, care needs, interventions, and outcomes. Identify changes and trends in physical and emotional parameters. Review treatment plans to modify, change, or write new programs. Instruct patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills. Maintain documentation as required by law, establishment policy, and administrative regulation. Requires Master's degree, state licensure, ASHA CCC (preferred), and valid driver's license. Full-time role in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or AHA-CPR or ARC-CPR
- OR-SLP
- WA-SLP
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
