Job Summary
Assess and document speech therapy data for patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders while identifying trends in physical and emotional parameters. Review treatment plans to modify or write new programs as needed, instruct patients on monitoring speech and practicing new skills, and maintain all documentation required by law and policy. Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including adhering to vaccination requirements and E-Verify compliance. This role serves the Columbia River Gorge community as part of Adventist Health's home health services.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or AHA-CPR or ARC-CPR
- OR-SLP
- WA-SLP
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
