Job Summary
Assess and manage dysphagia and communication impairment within acute, subacute, and community settings while working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Deliver safe, high-quality patient care aligned with Western Health values and policies, and contribute to continuous quality improvement, clinical research, and professional development. This rotational Grade 1 position spans Sunshine, Footscray, and Williamstown Hospitals, offering upskilling across adult streams with access to a robust supervision framework.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical competency, theoretical knowledge and experience in the assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders within the acute, rehabilitation and/or aged care sectors
- Eligibility for certified practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Record Check
- an Immunisation Status Clearance
- a Working with Children Check (if applicable)
