Job Summary
Conduct initial and re-evaluations of speech therapy patients, designing comprehensive treatment plans based on assessments of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing. Implement specific intervention strategies while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and supervising Clinical Fellowship Year candidates and students. Reassess patient status regularly to modify goals and discharge planning, providing education to patients and families regarding diagnoses and functional outcomes. Document all assessments, planning, and treatment progress accurately in medical records while maintaining departmental productivity standards and equipment safety.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree- Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited program
- Speech Path License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- SC Intern Certificate during Clinical Fellowship (i.e., Supervised Professional Employment)
- Basic Computer Skills
- Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
- Word processing and mathematical skills
- Patient Equip (Suction, Vitals, Defib)
