Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate speech therapy for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services while serving as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. Supervise student interns, clinical affiliates, and Clinical Fellowships as needed. Immediately notify charge nurses, managers, and house supervisors of significant problems or unusual incidents. Set patient care priorities and assign activities based on scope of practice. Requires Master's degree, state licensure, ASHA CCC, and BLS certification. Full-time position with $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation available for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' speech language pathology experience
