Speech Pathologist - FEES Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct FEES diagnostics and short-term therapy for dysphagia patients in physician offices, clinics, nursing homes, or via tele-therapy. Utilize the Dysphagia Systems Test to evaluate muscular, neurological, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and cognitive systems, then present customized diagnostic profiles with diet and therapy recommendations. Collaborate with the patient's care team to establish functional management goals and improved outcomes. This role offers part-time or PRN flexibility with a mentorship program, weekly team calls, and access to online CE content. A commitment to stay with DMS throughout the mentorship results in zero tuition for training.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Completion of Certificate of Clinical Competency
- At least 5 years experience in long-term care following completion of CFY
